Out of the Bag Theatre opens up creative opportunity and expands horizons. As our name suggests, it is portable theatre, it can happen anywhere for everyone. It is inclusive, providing quality experiences of story and theatre.

Whether participating in a weekly storytelling group, a mask workshop or watching a production, Out of the Bag mingles the ordinary with the extraordinary through play and fun.

Our drama is sensory and physical: moving even when sitting; using your body to speak; and your belly for laughing. 

Watching and making performance we share physical space and time (essential in our digital online world). This live and living quality brings with it unpredictability. Dip in your toe, plunge right in, risk can be tested or embraced: Out of the Bag is a safe space to have a go!
