The case of Our Lady of Vilnius (Blaudziunas v. Egan) is on the calendar of the New York State Court of Appeals for Tuesday, November 15.  Hearings begin at 2:00 PM.  CLICK HERE to view calendar.
 
Court is located at 20 Eagle StreetCheck website for driving directions and directions from train station and bus station--very detailed with street maps. 
 
If you are not driving, you can take either the train or the bus.  Web feedback says the train is more comfortable and more reliable.  It is also more expensive.
 
Train:  check www.amtrak.com.  Trip takes about 2 1/2 hours.  Cost for trains listed below is $40 each way, with various discounts possible (AAA Adult, $72; senior 62+, $68; check website for others.).  Best trains are: 
  • TO ALBANY:  #69 Adirondack.  Leaves Penn Station at 8:15am and arrives Albany at 10:45am.
  • TO NYC:  #68 Adirondack.  Leaves Albany at 6pm and arrives Penn Station at 8:40pm.
The train station is across the river in Rennselaer.  Buses and taxis are available to get into Albany proper. 
 
Bus:  check www.trailwaysny.com.  Trip takes about 3 hours.  Cost is $42 roundtrip (10% senior discount available).  Best buses are:
  • TO ALBANY:  Leaves Port Authority 8:30am and arrives Albany 11:20am.
  • TO NYC:  Leaves Albany at 6:30pm and arrives Port Authority at 9:35pm.
Albany bus terminal is at 34 Hamilton Street.  According to the Court of Appeals website, a 14 minute walk to the Court.  Taxis available.
