The Berkeley Area Gardens Clubs presented the 5th Annual Breath of Spring Flower Show at Cypress Gardens March 1-4, 2012. The Theme for the show is Honoring the 80th Anniversary of Cypress Gardens - "Berkeley's Natural Gem"  The show features spring blooms and floral designs.

The public  entered blooming cut flowers, shrubs and potted plants on the morning of Feb.29 and the show judged in the afternoon.  The show will open to the public from 10-4 each day until Sunday.

Mrs. Charles Martin of Berkeley Master Gardeners won Horticulture Excellence award with an Amaryllis plant with 9 blooms.

Mrs. Kieth Gourdin  of Belle Isle Garden Club won the top Tricolor Award for all  fresh flower arrangement. 

Mrs. D. Short of Petal Pushers Garden Club  won the Award of Design Excellence for her Arrangement "On the Cooper River"

Mr. Scotty Yenson of Camellia Garden Club won the Top Daffodil.    

Mr. G.W. Fisher won Best Camellia for "Black Magic"

Mrs. P.R.Black of Camellia Garden Club won the Arboreal Award for a Mahonia
