TIPS FOR UPLOADING YOUR WORK

Some partners have no experience with sending and uploading materials.
No need to worry, there are
some tips to make your work presented in the best possible way
:
1. You can send a text in Word (if you or your pupils would like to write on the computer);
2. You can also take a photo of your school, your pupils, a photo of their work (their drawings,what they made...) and send it as a photo (jpeg , jpg );
3. Scan their work; use Paint or some other software for making pictures, but please, save it in jpeg , jpg or gif  format;
4. You can make a short video (take it with the camera, or use a software such as Movie Maker), but have in mind possible difficulties with sending and uploading videos and, of course, a permission of pupil's parents;
5. We can also upload ppt. or audio files, have in mind that video and photos/drawings look the most attractive.
Good luck!

ABOUT THE PROJECT

DESCRIPTION:
Birthdays are celebrated in numerous cultures. Those days are special days: days of joy and happiness. The main part of the birthday celebration is the cake itself, that’s the reason why we use the birthday cake as a unifying element of our project activities. By this project children will share positive vibrations, their tradition and customs. They will share their work: drawings and short (written and video) messages. It should improve their understanding of the similarities and differences between countries in Europe and encourage children to feel that they are a part of a Europe-wide community.

PUPIL'S  AGE:
7 - 9

AIMS:
  • To encourage pupils to get to know each other and, hopefully, become friends;
  • To know different ways to celebrate a birthday; to raise enthusiasm in the European dimension; to share and compare our work;
  • To improve language and ICT skills;
  • To encourage pupils to get to know each other and, hopefully, become friends;
  • To know different ways to celebrate a birthday;
  • To raise enthusiasm in the European dimension;
  • To share and compare our work.
EXPECTED  RESULTS:
Greater understanding of our partnership countries, their birthday tradition and appreciation of the diversity of Europe. Children experience excitement of working with children from several other countries.
