Our aim is to keep you informed of the work taken up by the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations group and of all the activities planned, as part of those celebrations, for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June 2012 in Ottery. Wouldn't be great if we all could make of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebration in Ottery St. Mary the best, happiest and most original? If we all join forces, we should be able to make it. We would like to invite you to let us have your ideas, suggestions and if possible your collaboration and help with the events. We know it will be hard work but we can assure you, it will be worth it.

Preliminary plans for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations in Ottery St. Mary to be held in June were formulated at a meeting in the Town Council offices during January. The event has been organised with the participation of Ottery Town Council, Ottery Tourist Information Office, Rotary Club of Otter Valley, Ottery in Bloom, The Lions Club and the Ottery Pixie Day Committee

The Queen's Golden Jubilee held in 2002 on the Land of Canaan was a resounding success with hundreds of people attending. Let's repeat the oaccasion this June and make it an Ottery event to be proud of!
