Welcome to the

2024 Food Animal Medicine Student Symposium!

The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine is happy to announce that we will be hosting the 12th annual Food Animal Medicine Student Symposium.  Please join us March 22nd and 23rd to experience this immersive hands on experience!

The Zoetis-Ohio State Food Animal Medicine Student Symposium (FAMSS) is a two day symposium put on by students, for students. Each year industry leaders and veterinarians are brought in for interactive sessions and lectures covering various topics about food producing species including dairy, beef, swine, small ruminants, camelids, poultry, fish, and bees. We also offer several wet labs that provide students a more hands on experience outside of the classroom! Lastly, we are also partnering with the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge to host Dairy Challenge Vet - Sponsored by Merck Animal Health.

This symposium is a free event for students, with all of your lunches and dinners included--- you only need to pay for your travel! Please explore the tabs at the top right and reference the schedule to learn more about what is offered at this year's symposium!

Please use the registration link below to reserve your spot for 2024 FAMSS. There is limited capacity, and spots are available on a first come, first serve basis.
