In part II of Museum Masterpieces in the United States art historian, Kolya Rice continues to discuss some of the greatest works of art housed in our museums. Organized as a travelogue, participants will travel to museums in Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Boston, Los Angeles, and other cities. Along the way, participants will be introduced to key concepts, themes and critical analyses of art from around the world. 

Kolya Rice was awarded a PhC (ABD) in modern and contemporary art history and criticism from the University of Washington, and received his M.A. from Rice University. He has taught a wide range of courses on western art, theory and criticism at the UW, Seattle University and the University of Puget Sound over the last decade, and is currently a Lecturer in the UW’s Art History Department and an Associate Professor at Cascadia College.
