Help House, Inc. is a non-profit, Christian organization, founded by the churches of Osage County, for the purpose of providing emergency assistance for the basic needs of individuals and families in Osage County.
Help House, Inc. exists to provide our hearts,
hands, and help in an unconditional, compassionate, non-judgmental way. In addition, when appropriate, we offer intangible assistance of food for the spirit through sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Help House, Inc. is supported by contributions, donations, and volunteers. We work in cooperation with other agencies and organizations to help provide complete care to those we serve and to empower them to discover their God-given gifts and abilities. Our ultimate goal is to guide all toward dependence on God and interdependence with others.

How Can I Help?
We ask that the faith community keep Help House, its Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, and clients in their prayers. Volunteers are an essential part of this important ministry. If you would like to become a member of the volunteer staff, please call and talk to a volunteer at Help House.
There is a continual need for monetary donations that can be used for maintenance, utilities, supplies, and food.
Donations of food, clothing, and paper goods may be taken to Help House during regular operating hours, or left in the shed located behind the building. All clothing should be clean, in season, and in good condition. Children’s clothing and blankets are always in short supply.
If you have large, working appliances or furniture, please call and we will try to match you with a person in need of that item. Do not drop these items off by the shed.
