I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Cornell University.
My research interests include the areas of economics education/pedagogy and applied microeconomics (labour economics, economics of education, and economics of crime). I am currently investigating the channels through which peers in college affect students' academic outcomes.
My work includes multiple completed and in-progress projects that concern developing standardized assessments of student knowledge in economics, evaluating the impact of pedagogical interventions in economics classes, and innovative classroom activities. You can find out more on the Cornell Discipline-based Education Research (CDER) webpage.
