About Me

My involvement in engineering began at Carleton University where I graduated with my bachelors in electrical engineering in 2004.  Shortly after I began my career with what was then called Atomic Energy of Canada limited in Chalk River.  My volunteering career began while at university, with the IEEE Carleton student Branch.  I began volunteering for the PEO Algonquin chapter in 2009.  After receiving my P. Eng in 2012, I became vice chair of the Algonquin Chapter.  This role gave the opportunity to get an up close look at chapter operations both locally and at head office.  I represented eastern region in 2014 and 2015 on the chapter leaders conference (CLC) in Toronto.  This experience allowed me to interact with councilors and chairs from across the province.
