***NEW*** Applications Now Being Accepted for Graduate Assistant Position
The University of Oregon Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting application materials for a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position will work with various Olympic sports to be determined upon hire based on department needs. This position will have no responsibilities with the football program. This position is compensated with full tuition and a monthly stipend (10 months, September through June). Opportunities for additional compensation may be available by assisting with camps and clinics. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the design and implementation of sport specific strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams, assisting in all facets of training (set-up, supervision, and instructing), facilities upkeep, and equipment repair and maintenance. Adam Linens Hired As New University of Oregon Men's Basketball Strength & Conditioning Coach
Adam Linens has joined the University of Oregon athletic department as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Men’s Basketball program.
Before joining the Ducks, Coach Linens worked as the strength and conditioning coach for the Canton Charge in the NBA D-league, completed internships with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA, and was a strength and conditioning coach for the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA for 3 seasons. He has also spent time working as an as a strength and conditioning coach at Suwanee Sports Academy in Atlanta, and as the athletic trainer and assistant basketball coach at Thomas Dale High School in Richmond, Virginia.
