du Pont Trophy

The Delaware Museum of Natural History gives this award to the exhibit that is scientifically accurate and at the same time furthers the public's appreciation of the hobby and scientific study of mollusks. This award may not be given to any commercial dealer or professional malacologist, or any exhibit that has previously won it in this or any other shell show.

Conchologists of America Award

This award is presented to the exhibit which, in the opinion of the judges, shows theme excellence and is the outstanding exhibit in the show. It honors the exhibit that advances the interest in shells and shell collecting. This award is sponsored by the Conchologists of America.

Thomas Hale Trophy

This trophy is awarded to the best exhibit that is restricted to shells from the Pacific Northwest Region (Alaska to Panama). This is a revolving trophy. An exhibitor must be awarded this trophy at three different annual shell shows to retain it permanently. This trophy is sponsored by the Oregon Society of Conchologists.

Maxine Hale Plaque

This plaque is awarded to the exhibitor at the club's annual shell show who has the most outstanding display in the show's Creative Division. This award is sponsored by the Oregon Society of Conchologists.

This plaque is awarded to the exhibitor of the most outstanding Junior Division display. To qualify for the Junior Division, the exhibitor must be 17 years of age or younger. This award is sponsored by the Oregon Society of Conchologists.

Shell of the Show Award Ribbon

The Shell of the Show ribbon is awarded by the Oregon Society of Conchologists for the single outstanding shell in the entire show that is unique and of interest to both collectors and visitors. This ribbon may be awarded to a display that has won other trophies, plaques, or ribbons.

First, Second and Third Place Ribbons (Adult and Junior Exhibits)

One first, second, and third place ribbon is awarded in each Adult and Junior Exhibit class offered in the show, based on the judge's opinion of the merit of the display and how interesting it would be to collectors and visitors alike. These ribbons are sponsored by the Oregon Society of Conchologists.
