A common disease is plaguing thousands of musicians around the world. It is spread commonly in large groups of musicians, where one does not need to be heard while they are playing their instruments. It is known commonly as Orchestra-Itis. Its scientific name is quiete faceret.
If you believe you have this disease, contact your nearest music teacher now. It is a career threatening disease.
To raise awareness for this new disease, I have taken the liberty of starting Orchestra Itis Awareness Day on February Second annually. It is also on the same day as Groundhogs Day because as the Groundhog makes the choice on whether we will have longer winters or shorter, we have to make the choice on whether we will sound good or not.
