Orange Chicken with Broccoli and Rice

Orange Chicken

Makes 4 Servings

Prep Time 30 Minutes

Ingredients:

1 LB chicken breast cut into bite size cubes

Breading For the Chicken

3/4 cup of all purpose flour

1/4 cup of cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

2 eggs

Orange Chicken Sauce:

1.5 cups of orange juice

1 tablespoon chinese rice wine

2 teaspoons of sesame seed oil

2.5 tablespoons of sugar

2 teaspoons of seasoned rice vinegar

1.5 tablespoons of soy sauce

1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with 1 teaspoon of cold water

1/2 tablespoon of chopped garlic

1/2 tablespoon of chopped ginger

2 teaspoons of orange zest

4 dried red chile cut into half remove seeds

2 cups of oil to fry bit size pieces of chicken
