Planning meeting June 2017

Operation EarthWatch is still going strong in its twenty-fourth year. Each year we help hundreds of Falls Church children and their families learn how their actions can have a real impact on sustaining a clean and healthy environment in our city and on our planet.

As we approach our 25th anniversary, we would like to find ways to celebrate our long history of success, to strengthen the program and to reinforce its long-term sustainability. One thing we know for sure - we need more volunteers! If you think you might be interested in helping, whether for one year as we celebrate our 25th anniversary, or in the longer term each school year, please come to our meeting on Tuesday June 13th at 4:00 p.m. in the Dogwood Room at City Hall, or contact Kate Walker, the City’s Environmental Programs Coordinator, at kwalker@fallschurchva.gov.
