This site collects documentation on online-offline web applications, in particular used in crisis information management. The site is a work-in-progress and has to be understood in the broader context of designing more "resilient" applications and tools.

State of the art:
  • there are a lot of great web tools out there, and more to come
  • some are or would be extremely valuable in a crisis
  • unreliable connectivity can be dealed with

  • web is better
  • standard is better, HTML5 is better
  • free, open source is better

  • #RHoK December 2011 - first output The very first output of our group, has been the creation of this site to document the Ushahidi Webapp, first, and be able to support other challenges, problems and project willing to provide some online-offline support to their applications and tools. The site is very mich work in progress!
