Big Huge Labs Captioner - Upload your photo, or choose it from your Flickr or Facebook collection. Add captions,in the spaces provided. With or without an email address.

Bitstrips - sign up for BitStrips, not BitStrips for Schools. Needs an email to register. Choose the "Advance Builder" when you create characters. This is a very "social" site - be careful about the information you add to your profile. Be sure to go through the "settings" section, too.

Chogger - Work with imported pictures, or draw on line.  Requires a log in.

Comic Creator - A very simple site.  No color choices, no login, only option is to screen shot as you go, or print on paper at the end

Comic Master -is a free tool designed for students to use to create comics in the "graphic novel style". Students can create free accounts on Comic Master to save their works and edit them whenever they like. Comic Master gives students the option to create and print multiple page stories.

Make Beliefs Comix - very easy to use; no login required; will print your creation.

Pixton - sign up at Pixton for Fun.  Needs an email to register. Create simple or complex comics using stock characters, scenes, objects. Objects are highly editable, and characters can change poses.

ToonDoo - sign up for "ToonDoo", NOT "ToonDoo Spaces". Needs an email to register.

Witty Comics - select the pre-drawn background scenes and the pre-drawn characters they want to feature in their comics. Writing the dialogues is the creative element that is left to the users.
