Office & Media Teams

At Our Lady of Fatima we are so very fortunate to have such a wonderful team of volunteers who have helped run the parish office as well as other media so smoothly. It all works like clockwork behind the scenes due to their commitment and dedication over the many years. There are so many roles to consider we've tried to include them all below:


Parish Administrator: Collise Lynch (Mon/Wed/Fri 10am -4pm) - 020 8743 8334

The Office Support/Communications Team do a tremendous job - they're always busy working on many projects as well as answering the phones, taking messages, sorting diary appointments and emails, greeting people and helping them with their enquiries, etc. These tasks can be anything from parents handing in forms, baptism certificate requests to wedding and funeral enquiries; helping with updating the weekly newsletter and keeping notices and posters up to date, etc.

Gillian has been the glue that has held this parish together for many, many years now so we are presently looking at sharing the work in order to alleviate her workload. As well as Gillian, Hilda has also been a member of the office team for some time too, dealing with all the registering and certificate enquiries. Hilda is also the Justice & Peace contact for our parish as well as dealing with Safeguarding.

The presbytery parish office is open Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm (closed for lunch between 12.30-1.00pm).


Pat has been a dedicated member of our parish since the beginning. He helped introduce Planned Giving and still helps with the cash counting, recording figures and other financial tasks associated with day-to-day parish operations and programs including utilities and supplies. We also have a wonderful group of volunteers who help Pat including Sue and Gillian but we're always looking for new members. Do you have experience/expertise in areas of financial management, fund-raising or book-keeping? Mark presently helps us out with our IT enquiries but it would be really helpful to have more than one member to help out when we encounter problems with our systems.


Mark and Marie currently work on our website design and development - collecting, editing and updating content for both our site and Facebook page. Anyone with web experience would be a very helpful addition to our small team. Also, we're always looking at ways of improving our site and Facebook page so if you have any feedback/suggestions, they'd be very much appreciated. Our official photography services are provided by MD40 Photography with Marie at other times to take photos of the church and events. 


At present this is a tiny team of one, video is captured by Marie on her little camera. We are therefore in need of more volunteers who have film experience and the right type of equipment - this would be really helpful in capturing our lovely celebrations.


We play many videos/music in the church, chapel and the parish hall/playground and need help with our audio visual systems every so often. Mark, Eric and Elroy kindly help us with this at present but do get in touch if you have techie experience and would like to help also.
