Ministry Groups

As you can see, Our Lady of Fatima is truly blessed by the richness of the variety of the many parish ministry groups and teams. All are welcome and encouraged to fulfil their calling to be a fully participating member of the congregation. If you are wondering how you may help, or what your calling may be, this is your chance to explore what happens in all these groups and teams.

Altar Servers

Altar Servers are committed parish members who help our priests as they serve God and parishioners through all our masses. Anyone interested in becoming an Altar Server and has received their First Communion, is welcomed to join the Guild of St. Stephen.

Children's Liturgy

Children's Liturgy group helps encourage young children to reflect on the Gospel story of the day, making it easier for them to understand it through prayer and fun activities.

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers assist priests with giving Holy Communion during mass and to the sick who are housebound.
The Music Group enriches our parish with their beautiful singing and music during our Sunday mass and other special services.

Readers

Our readers not only have a very important role to play, they also have a very privileged one. They have been given the most precious gift - sharing the Word of God with our fellow parishioners.

Sign Language Group

Our Sign Language Group is a very small and talented group, including children, who sign interpret at masses for our deaf community, enabling our deaf members to also participate in the Lord's Gospel.

If you're interested in joining one of our Ministry groups please contact the presbytery (parish office) for more information.
