Evangelisation Group

The Evangelisation Group (Social Committee) led by Fr Richard came to fruition in 2016. We come together as a whole group or are split into three categories Youth/Families and Adults to discuss and plan initiatives, projects, social/liturgical calendar events and how we can help, care and support those in need in both our parish and local community.

From our group meetings a few wonderful ideas have already been born such as the making and erecting of our beautiful Cross. We also built an outdoor nativity and ended 2016/started 2017 with a big bang - a fabulous firework display to celebrate the beginning of our Fatima Centenary. It was such a huge success we had a second firework display to mark the 100 year anniversary of the last apparition of Our Lady in Fatima too.

A monthly Fatima leaflet educating us on the story of Fatima has also been produced by Fr Richard and we have had some fantastic Fatima Centenary celebrations including live transmissions on the weekend of the Canonisations of Blessed Jacinta and Francisco and a glorious candlelit procession with Our Lady of Fatima.

As well as all of these super ideas we have also initiated our Youth Mass every third Sunday of the month at 6pm.

We currently meet on a Sunday evening after the 6pm mass on a monthly basis, sometimes more often depending on our parish's activities and have approximately 15 members, but will always welcome new ones to help us reach out and spread God's love.

If you're interested in volunteering and joining this amazing and fruitful group or know of a fellow parishioner who needs our help, please contact the presbytery (parish office).

Outreach Group

The Outreach Group is a dedicated network of parishioners who operate under the radar. They help the less fortunate with care, compassion and understanding and provide clothing, household goods, financial assistance, and operate a food supply for those in need.

If you are interested in helping others and would like more information about this Group please contact the presbytery (parish office).
