UCM Group

The Union of Catholic Mothers is an organisation of Catholic married women that works for the preservation of the family and sanctification of the home. It is one of the oldest groups in the parish and with some of the founder members still active.

Its objectives are:
  • To help Catholic married women to appreciate the sacramental character, the responsibilities and the permanence of marriage, and to live in unselfish love observing the laws of God and his Church
  • To assist them to bring up their children as practicing Catholics and public spirited citizens
  • To offer love, sympathy and practical help to families in difficulty
  • To foster vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life
The UCM is currently in the process of being reformed in the parish after a “dormant period” over the last couple of years. Congratulations to Lola Ojewale on being chosen as President for our White City group. Ave Maria!

The Group used to meet on the last Sunday of the month, after 11.00am Mass in the Chapel - details of next meeting to follow soon.

If you'd like to join this supportive group please contact the presbytery (parish office) for more information.
