We are so glad you are here!
We welcome you in the name of Jesus, our Lord!
As you navigate through this site we pray that you will be blessed and find what you seek.

Dear Church Members and Friends,

John Wesley, the founder of Methodist, said “Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.”

As a church we operate by the support of its members, friends and community. We ask you to support Olivet through stewardship. You can continue to send your contributions as you have always done. However, we have opened another avenue for your giving which will allow donations to be made using debit, credit, Paypal or bank transfer. The transaction will be completed using Paypal, an online payment processing site. You are able to use your own Paypal account, create an account or complete a transaction without having a Paypal account by selecting Continue. Once you enter your information click "Review your Donation and Continue." On this page click the link called "Enter env. # and how to distribute funds." Use this link to tell us your envelope number and/or how you would like the funds distributed. (ie: memorial, mortgage, benevolence, mission of the month, etc.)

We thank God every day for what you are able to give.

  • Tidings Changes! Starting with the March 2015 Tidings, we will now be publishing every other month. The Tidings schedule will now be as follows: March/April May/June July/August September/October November/December By changing to a “bi-monthly” publication we are reducing our costs of preparation (paper, ink, labels, sealing tabs, etc.) and the time intensive labor of preparing it for mailing. In addition, by going bi-monthly it is our hope that our content will be more meaningful and less repetitive. We currently have over 70 individuals receiving the Tidings by email. This has helped reduce costs as well by producing less paper copies. If you would like to start receiving the Tidings by email, please contact the church ...

  • Appalachia Service Project WOW. This will be the 19th year we have sent our youth to work with Appalachia Service Project. Thank you Jesus! Thank you Olivet Church! The trip sends volunteers on a home-repair ministry to the people of the central Appalachian region. See www.asphome.org for information about the ASP organization. It also provides an opportunity for our youth to be missional and also evangelical by bringing some of their friends. Please support this important youth ministry. ASP is the ...
