I am a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University in the Organizational Behavior and Theory group. I received my PhD in Management from the Economic Sociology Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management. I study Organization Theory broadly.
research interests revolve around how audience perceptions of organizations and
individuals influence behavior in markets. In particular, I am developing a line
of work that looks at how perceptions of success can constrain an organization
or individual’s ability to compete in a market.
I have studied organizations and behavior in industries as diverse as entertainment, sports, and food industries and science and health industries. I received an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
I live with my wife and four children in Pittsburgh, PA.
