I am Senior Economist in the Jobs and Income Division of the OECD.  Previous positions include Head of the Finance workstream and Economist on the country desks for Italy, Norway and the United States.  Here is my full CV.

Prior to joining the OECD in 2010, I completed my PhD in Economics at the London School of Economics, entitled "Essays in Public Finance and Political Economy", under the supervision of Prof. Tim Besley and Prof. Daniel Sturm.

Work experiences include stints at the World Bank, the Ifo Institute, the Centre for Economic Performance, the Kazakh-British Technical University and as tennis coach in Boca Raton, Florida.

I have broad knowledge on macroeconomic and structural policies, while my particular research interests are in public economics, labour economics, financial economics and applied econometrics.

My research has been reported in Bloomberg News, The Economist, Financial Times, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Handelsblatt, Politico, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Die Welt and other major media outlets.
