PREP Registration 2017-2018

Registrations are now being accepted for next year’s Religious Education Program.  Please register your child if he or she is entering 1st grade at any of our public schools.  The registration form can be found on the parish website or by contacting Dianne Donahoe, DRE at olhcprep@verizon.net.  The fee is $150. Per child.  You must be registered in the Parish before signing your child up for PREP and Mass attendance is required of all PREP families.  A copy of your child’s baptismal certificate is required if your child is new to the program.  Payment is due at the time of registration.

2017 Baby Bottle Campaign

The Respect Life Committee invites you to participate in contributing to its Baby Bottle Campaign.  Bottles will be at each of the Church doors.  Please take one home and fill it with your loose change or bills, and return them by Father’s Day, June 18th.  The money collected will go to area crisis pregnancy centers and The Pro-Life Union.  Thank you for your generosity!

OUR HELPING HEARTS

Please join the Helping Heart’s Ministry for the 2nd Annual May Celebration in honor of Our Blessed Mother. A very special speaker has been planned for the adult members of OLHC. Joann Roa, will share the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe in a profound and insightful way that will surely inspire you to a deeper understanding and relationship with Mary.     A light brunch will be served and a free will offering accepted. It will be held on May 7th, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Church Hall. NOVENA to OLHC Feast Day May 24th

Begins May 15th to May 23rd. Novena will be held in our Chapel starting May 15th @ 7pm, and at all masses the May 20th and 21st. We will present flowers to Our Lady May 24th, The Feast Day of Our Lady Help of Christians

Holy Name Society

Our Holy Name Society will hold their monthly Mass a week later, this month.  It will be at the 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday, April 23rd.  And our monthly meeting will also be a week later which will be on Tuesday, April 18th at 7:30 PM in the chapel.

Our next meeting will be held in OLHC's church hall on Friday, May 12 at 11:30 a.m.  All are welcome to join us for a light lunch.  Sign-in fee is $2 at the door.

Parish Pastoral Council

Congratulations to the new members of our Parish Pastoral Council.  144 ballots were cast, the new members elected are:  Thomas Gennaro 70 votes, Jack Bellantoni 66 votes, Edward Trainor 60 votes.  Many thanks to all who ran in the election and were nominated.
