PicasaShot

 

PicasaShot is a small automator workflow for uploading images to Picasa with one click.



README.txt contents:

HOW IT WORKS?
1. Select image in Finder
2. Run PicasaShot
3. PicasaShot will upload selected image to Picasa and will open it in your default browser

INSTALLATION as application
(Using via dock or spotlight: select image in Finder and launch application via dock or spotlight)
1. Drag PicasaShot.app to Applications folder
2. Open Automator
3. Open PicaShot.app via File > Open
4. Enter your Gmail account login and password in workflow code:
#Your google account and password
username=[YOUR USERNAME WITHOUT "@gmail.com"]
password=[YOUR PASSWORD]
5. Save and close file
6. If you need drag PicasaShot from Applications folder to dock

INSTALLATION as Finder's plug-in
(Using via right button menu
Right click on picture in finder > More > Automator > PicasaShot)
1. Drag PicasaShot.app to Applications folder
2. Open Automator
3. Open PicaShot.app via File > Open
4. Enter your Gmail account login and password in workflow code:
#Your google account and password
username=[YOUR USERNAME WITHOUT "@gmail.com"]
password=[YOUR PASSWORD]
5. Save workflow as Finder's plugin via File > Save as plug-in > enter name "PicasaShot" and plug-in for "Finder"

HOW TO CHANGE ICON?
1. Install PicasaShot
2. Right click on PicasaShot in Finder ("Applications" folder) > Show package contents
3. In Contents>Resources replace default icon file "AutomatorApplet.icns" with PicasaShot
