Old Westport House is a home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The original portion of the home was built in 1870, more than 150 years ago. Back then, the Town of Westport was separate from the Town of Kansas (which later became Kansas City). This area was a popular trading post for pioneers headed west. Today Westport is a thriving entertainment, shopping and arts district.
In Old Westport, Kansas City, you can immerse yourself in history, art, music and culture. Our home is a short walk from the oldest structure in Kansas City, the Albert B. Boone Store / Kelly's Westport Inn, built in 1850, and the Bridger/Chouteau Building / Johnny Kaw's, built in 1851. Come for a visit and experience it yourself.
