Deep Moisturizing Facial Remedies for a Youthful Supple Complexion


A complexion that is well hydrated lessens the appearance of wrinkles and brightens skin tone.
Moisturizing daily helps to prevent and diminish signs of aging.




                                      

                                         
1. Avocado
An exceptional anti-oxidant source which reduces free radicals responsible for aging the skin. Adding avocados to your diet along with topical applications will reduce wrinkles, fine lines and keep skin hydrated. Your skin will feel silky smooth and supple after just one treatment. 

Instructions: Gently massage a mashed ripe avocado and apply onto complexion leaving on for 10-15 minutes then rinsing with lukewarm water. An alternative method for a quick facial treatment is running a slice of avocado over the skin for a minute or so then rinsing. 



2. Moisturizing Toning Mask
(Egg Yolk, Olive oil)
One a week apply a toning mask consisting of one beaten egg with one teaspoon of olive oil. Appy onto complexion and leave on for 15-20 minutes then rinse off with lukewarm water. Facial treatment helps to tighten pores while moisturizing the skin.



3. Healing Mask
(Cabbage)
Cabbage is a great healer! Apply a mask of mashed cooked cabbage to complexion and leave on for 15 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. Add raw cabbage to your diet for many health and beauty benefits! 



4. Hydration Mask
(Cucumber)
Slice a cucumber and gently slide over complexion or throw a few slices into a blender then apply the mixture onto your skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes. A fantastic hydrating mask that also reduces dark circles and puffy eyes. 



5. Make-up Remover and Moisturizer
(Milk or Cream)
Use fresh whole milk or cream as a make-up remover and moisturizer. Properties in milk are present in many commercial moisturizing products on the market.  



6. Freshen Complexion & Skin Tone 
 (Rose and Lily Petals)
Take a generous handful of lily and rose petals either fresh or dried and put into a bowl of boiling water and soak for 15-20 minutes. After time limit drain water and allow petals to cool. Once cooled wash face with petal water then rinse with cool water. Add petals to bath water for a relaxing aroma filled treatment that also softens and conditions the skin. 



7. Nightly Facial Mask  
(Cucumber Juice, Rosewater, Glycerine)
Extract juice from a cucumber by mashing then draining liquid. Mix cucumber juice with 1/4 teaspoon rosewater and 1/4 teaspoon glycerine making a spreadable paste. Before going to sleep apply the paste onto complexion leaving on overnight and washing off in the morning with lukewarm water.  



8. Banana Deep Moisturizing Treatment
(Banana Peel)
Use the inside of a banana peel and rub gently over complexion for several minutes then allow banana nutrients to remain on your skin for 10-15 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. The natural oils contained in bananas and its peel supply nutrients and deeply moisturizes the skin. 



9. Vitamin E Oil 
Apply a thin layer of vitamin E oil on the skin before bedtime. This is an amazing facial treatment that reduces wrinkles, nourishes and hydrates the skin for a younger looking complexion.



10. Almond Oil 
This nourishing oil helps to improve one's complexion by reducing fine lines, wrinkles, crow's feet and sagging skin by keeping skin hydrated. Gently massage a thin layer of almond oil onto your complexion and leave on overnight.

13. Skin Freshener and Pigment Lightener  
(Milk and Strawberry Juice)
Mix 1 part milk with two parts strawberry juice and apply to skin leaving on for 15-20 minutes then rinse with cool water. Moisturizes and tones the skin.
