Home Remedies for Aching Feet, Corns, Calluses & Nail Fungus 


Home Remedies to soothe Sore Aching feet, Reduce Calluses and Corns, eliminate Nail fungus, 
Foot Odor and Soften Dry rough feet with these home remedies.




       
1. Aching Feet 
Relieve the discomfort of aching sore feet by soaking them in a mixture of Epsom salt and warm water. Epsom salt is also beneficial for sore aching muscles. 

Frozen Bottled Water
Slowly roll sore feet over a frozen water bottle to relieve pain and reduce swelling. 



2. Calluses and Corns 

Licorice and Petroleum Jelly
Grind a few licorice sticks and mix with 1/2 teaspoon petroleum jelly then rub mixture onto affected areas of feet. The mixture helps to soft and moisturize 
skin for 
easier removal of corns and calluses.





Dip a piece of white or stale bread into 1/4 cup of white vinegar. Let it soak for 30 minutes then place bread over corn or callus then cover with gauze or a large bandaid and leave on overnight. In the morning, the hard callused skin will be dissolved and corn should easily be removed. Thick corns and calluses may take several treatments applications to remove. 


  

3. Soften Dry Rough Feet
Vegetable or Olive Oil
Rub oil on feet and massage into skin for several minutes then cover feet with an old pair of socks and leave on overnight. Repeat the moisturizing treatment several times a day until skin is well hydrated then once a day to maintain hydration.  




Banana Peel
Rub the inside of a banana peel onto dry cracked heels for several minutes. The oils contained within bananas peels moisturizes and heal excessively dry cracked skin. Repeat daily until healed then continue with a daily moisturizer to maintain. 




4. Relieve Itching, Soreness, and Odor 
Mix together 3 tablespoons baking soda with 1 tablespoon peppermint oil, 1 tablespoon salt in a tub of warm water. Soak for 20 minutes or longer. 



5. Gout or Sore Feet 
Soak feet in hot water with a few fresh mint leaves for 30 minutes or more. 





7. Foot Odor 
Corn Starch and Baking Soda
Mix three parts cornstarch with one part baking soda and apply on feet to keep them dry and odor free. 
Repeat throughout the day if necessary.      
   
  
 
                                                                                                                                                           
8. Foot Odor/Fungus

Vodka
Wipe down feet with vodka to kill odor-causing fungus and bacteria. Repeat treatment daily until the odor problem is eliminated. 






6. Nail Fungus

Vicks' Vapor rub
Apply Vicks' Vapor Rub onto infected nail massaging into the nail bed and surrounding area several times a day. Continue daily treatment until signs of the fungus are completely gone. 





Baking Soda
Sprinkle some baking soda onto dampened nail brush and scrub nails to remove and kill nail fungus. Repeat several times a day until nail fungus is destroyed.





Soak the infected nail in a mixture of Epsom salt and water several times a day until all signs of nail fungus are completely gone. 






Rub a few drops of oil onto infected area several times a day until nail fungus is gone.
