In late October 2009, Old Fella foster mom discovered Wally living on the streets of Burke County and according to a man who was giving him food he was dumped out there and had just been living on the streets for about 2 months. Wally apparently had owners that just got tired of him, so they tossed him out like trash.
Lucky for Wally, Kathy took him on and applied to have him admitted into the Old Fella rescue program. She fostered Wally for a few weeks before he went to a second foster home with Old Fella foster mom Twana. Within a week of moving to his new foster home, his current forever mom found him online and called us to ask about him. It just so happened that Twana had plans to drive to the city in Florida where Wally’s new family live.
On Christmas day, Twana drove Wally to Mollie & Al in Florida and it was love at first sight. A lot of luck has guided and guarded little Wally on his journey to that perfect home. Here are some photos of Wally getting to know his new digs in Florida.
Thanks Mollie & Al for giving Wally that second chance at life.
