Monday November 2, 2015 – Annual Meeting Report

Voting for the annual meeting began at 6:00 pm. Mike formally opened the meeting at 7:10 with The Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for our troops and servicemen. Approx. 70 members in attendance for the meeting.

SECRETARY REPORT: report from October meeting was posted

TREASURER’S REPORT:  No treasurer’s report read

MEMBERSHIP: Tom presented 10 applicants for membership, all were accepted and welcomed to the club.

New Business Ron H and the IDPA group brought forth a proposal to the BoD for discussion. A motion came to the membership to lower the age limit at IDPA to be determined by a 3 member RSO team, not affiliated w IDPA. Shooter must pass a qualification demonstration and show maturity and responsibility, they must be accompanied at shoot with a parent/guardian and comply with all OSCA safety regulations and be no younger than 14 years old. Motion passes.

IDPA match being held Nov 21.

NSSF and GOAL: Dale S welcomed new and encourages signing up for GOAL. It’s the political season so stay on top of latest news, sign up on website. NSSF report posted.

INDOOR RANGE COMMITTEE: Heating system almost complete, some final hookups to happen and removal of old. Looking into was to raise some money for the indoor range project.

PISTOL: Rick reporting that the pistol is off to a good start, they have 17-20 shooters and are 3-4. They meet on Thursday nights, club guns and ammo is available, they are looking for new shooters and new members are welcome.

At 7:40 a motion was made to close voting, passes and ballots went for counting.

RIFLE: Roy reporting for Rifle OC rifle team meets on Tuesday nights. OCSA winter matches began November 15 and run for 20 weeks at 10: am, all day, all winter. November 15 is a turkey shoot, Dec 20th the ham shoot. AR Service rifle shoot on Sunday, iron sight see Franc for military rifle shooting schedule.

BLACK POWDER:  Paul B. reporting, Turkey shoot will be November 15, December 5th is thePot Luck Christmas Party in the cabin. A box will be in the clubhouse for TOYR FOR TOTS campaign, December 14th deadline.

ARCHERY: Paul reporting archers have been working on lanes, see club site for email on volunteering.

SHOTGUN:  Shotgun, Skeet, Trap and 5-Stand is open on Wednesday’s 10:00–12:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00-1:00.

50/50 Raffle was won by member Paul Glynn $88.
