Parenting Center

The Parenting Center meets on Mondays during the
School Year from 9:30-11:00am in the Lower Church Hall.

Denise Matranga: 718-597-9288

We invite all families in the community to participate in our weekly Monday morning program.

As parents, together we can offer support and educate one another as we strive to raise emotionally and physically healthy children, in an ever-changing world. Parents meet in the cry room for a group discussion.  At times a guest speaker is invited to share their expertise.  A chaperoned playgroup for children is available in the Church Hall to allow parents to join freely in the adult group discussions.

Holiday parties add to the fun! A play group fee of $5 per child, $7 for 2 or more children is requested to cover costs. This is an excellent opportunity for both you and your child to learn new skills and build new friendships. We look forward to meeting you and hope you will join us each week!

Wellness Center
We offer information on health and wellness programs. Free consultations and blood pressure screening is available. A registered Nurse is on duty. The center is accessed through the Robert's Avenue doors to the church. It is open most Saturdays from 10:30am-1:30pm.

Junior Teen Center
This is open to parish children in grades 6-8. The program runs from October through March in the School Gym from 7:30pm -9:00pm, some events may take place in the Church Hall. There is a nominal fee to participate at "theme" nights. More information to follow comes September.
