Current:
  • Economic Affairs Office at ECLAC (since January 2013). 

Previous:

  • Senior Research Associate at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) (Apr 2009-Dec 2012). During 2009-2011, project leader Global Economic Costs of Conflict, aiming to calculate the impact of violent conflict. Subsequently involved in different projects at the institute. Since January 2012, project leader Security Indicator, where the aim of the project is to develop a methodology to measure the level of security in Germany. While the primary task at DIW Berlin is to publish, other tasks have included some teaching (at Humboldt University Berlin), advising graduate students, contribute to policy reports, write funding proposals and responsibility for people and budget within the projects.
