Level: Beginner
What do you think of when you hear the word “bootblack”? In the leather community, Bootblacks take care of our leathers. Contrary to
the name, we do more than just boots and even more than just leather. We are also the keepers of the stories. Do you know what year was the
first documented bootblack session was? Come learn some history and ways to take care of your prized pieces. You will learn the difference
between polish and conditioner, why having two kits is important, and know the basic essentials to any bootblack kit.

Level: Beginner, Intermediate
Needle play is a VASTE area to dive into. There is so much you need to learn before you even start to explore stabbing people and turning them into art. If you dont know the basics i will touch on them briefly. In this class, you will learn and see, multiple ways needle play can be had! I am always open to more suggestions and im also ok giving tastings! Come join me and get to learn the point of enjoying this edge play. I hope you will walk away from this class a little more enthusiastic with ideas, the knowledge of different needles, and the difference between sanitize/clean/disinfection.
BIO
Roan (wossum) is a queer trans (they/them/it/Sir/pup) pan, poly, sadomastic pup, switch, Leather person. They have been in the lifestyle 20+ years, semi-active in the DFW area for 9 of those years and found it’s home in Leather in 2022. Their heart and home is with The Lotus Wolf Clan out of Shreveport, Louisiana. Volunteering and education is what drives Roan's heart to beat as giving back to the community and making it as safe as possible for the old and new has always been their life song. They are the founder and owner of H.A.R.O. They can always be found working the bootblack stands, in a classroom or behind the scenes in many kink events such as Beyond Vanilla, Vision, SPLF, Whips in the Woods, GWNN, BED, OKLF and continue to teach at their local dungeon, The Infliction Hall. They also volunteer for non-kink things such as the DFW Wildlife Coalition, animal shelters, Veteran Assistant programs, help hotlines, Warm Up America and Food Banks of America. Roan is an advocate and motivational speaker for SA warriors of all ages and sexes and a safe place for any in need. Roan openly lives with DiD and 7 autoimmune diseases. It educates others on living and playing with their ‘super power’ They look forward to growing more in knowledge and in chosen family as they share space and life with Y/you.
