1964 Cushman Silver Eagle OMC Electric Start Engine | $1200
Meticulously  overhauled even though it was extremely low mileage from factory (< 1000 miles).   Standard bore, crank was perfect, didn't need turning just polished, new main and rod bearings, new piston, rings, valves, springs, seals and gaskets.  Chrome valve cover and push rod tubes, and kick start arm.  Engine block was bead blasted on outside and painted argent silver.   Red glyptal paint on inside of block was so nice from factory that no bead blasting was done to the inside.  Glyptal paint seals the tiny pores and leaves the engine block interiors smooth. Helps keep the oil clean and flowing freely, and prevents oil weeping thru to exterior of block.  New ring gear, starter, kick start spring, and other new parts.  This engine is so nice it should be on a show bike.   I'll include a nice manual start stator which can be converted to electric start, as well as an engine balancer Arcadia Cushman sells.  Can deliver to OK State meet in May or the Greeley Colorado CCOA meet in June of 2015. Call for any further questions.   Might be interested in trading for silver eagle transmissions and clutches.Contact: Jim Harris (575) 642-3109| Emailjeharris.nm@hotmail.com
