Encouraging, educating and engaging communities to reduce teen crashes and fatalities in Ohio
Motor vehicle crashes are the No. 1 cause of death for teens in Ohio and teens have the highest crash risk of all drivers. The Ohio Teen Safe Driving Coalition, managed by the National Safety Council in partnership with The Allstate Foundation, is working to help teens build skill and minimize risk through the proven principles of Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL).
The Ohio Coalition is one of 10 state coalitions, including California, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Texas. All coalitions focus on reducing teen driving-related deaths.
