Cross-country ski shoe CW key
The climate is changing and you can't trust the winters any more. Sometimes there is snow, sometimes not. If not, you can always use your ski shoe as a CW key.
A ski binding is screwed to a piece of wood. A real ski could also be used as a base, but a full-sized ski doesn't fit easily into my hamshack (and I don't want to break my skis with a saw because I need them for ski-W operation whenever there is enough snow).
Keying contacts are made of a piece of PC-board material glued to the shoe bottom and a strip of metal screwed to the wooden base.
This key is primarily intended for hand use (see the video below). If you prefer operating CW by feet, see my CW insoles or QLF pedal.
