Banana CW key

A bunch of tasty bananas was bought but not yet eaten.
A piece of aluminium tape was attached to one of the bananas for CW keying purposes.
A wooden base for bananas was made. Keying cable is connected to two screws near each other.
Keying contacts under the banana look like this.
Building project bears fruit and the key is ready.
Unfortunately the keying performance degrades when the bananas get very soft and brown. Then it is wise to buy new replacement bananas and use the old ones in a banana milkshake:
2-3 peeled and sliced bananas
5dl vanilla ice cream
5-7dl milk
Put all the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth. Drink and enjoy while sending CW with new bananas.
