Introductory microeconomic course, especially designed for second year IE students. Basic economic principles including price theory, analysis of the firm, competition and monopoly, and the distribution of income.

Course Objectives


The primary objective of the course is to get you to think like an economist. To this end, students should expect to learn and develop an appreciation for the logic underlying economic decision-making: distinguish between various market structures and understand the role of markets.
