This award-winning organization is open to any student (regardless of major) who is interested in the discipline of Human Factors and Ergonomics. By becoming a member, students learn about this growing field and become involved in human factors research and activities. The chapter meets once a month in the Mills Godwin Building at Old Dominion University.

By filling out an application, you will automatically be enrolled in our mailing list. Someone will contact you regarding membership.
There is an annual fee of $10 for all members. This money is used to support activities hosted by the ODU HFES Student Chapter.
An HFES student member receives the monthly bulletin, the quarterly journal, Human Factors, and the monthly magazine, Ergonomics in Design. Students who join usually have a strong interest in a human factors career. You do not have to be a member of the national chapter to become a member of ODU's chapter.
