Current Projects

This project is a new kernel and filesystem for the gp2x. By replacing the root filesystem with compressed, read only image, the kernel boot time is dramaticly reduced, from over 20 seconds to about 3. The current development version is using squashfs, which yields 10% smaller images than cramfs, an updated busybox with heaps more utils, and a network driver for communicating with your PC via telnet, ssh and ftp.

A port of python and pygame to the gp2x. The current development version features hardware accellerated SDL rendering, as well as a more tuned python interpreter (50% faster).

A very simple PDF viewer for the GP2X, using the poppler library for PDF rendering. The current development version features a compressed back and forward rendering cache, for faster page changing.
