Vice President: Roles and Responsibilities

  • Description of Term: 

    • Shall operate as vice-president for a period of one year, which then automatically transitions into the president-elect position for 1 year prior to taking on the role of the president (two year term).

    • This position is a 4-year commitment to the Society.

  • Shall be the CSOS Liaison to guide the Executive Director in supporting plans for CSOS Symposia.

  • Shall be involved in on-going consultation with the president, and board, regarding all operations of CSOS.

  • Shall be involved in sub-committees as required (e.g. conference planning, membership recruitment etc.).

  • Shall also take on responsibility for contributing to the management of finances, and have co-signing authority for expenses.
