August, 2012The CSOS launched a number of new communications initiatives, including a new Google-based website and email address, a CSOS Google Group and a new mailing list. 

May, 2012The 5th Occupational Science Symposium was held at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB. At this symposium, the 3rd Townsend and Polatajko Lectureship was given by Dr. Debbie Laliberte Rudman.

March, 2012The CSOS presented its inaugural Student Awards in Student Scholarship.

June, 2011 The 2nd Occupational Science stream was hosted at the CAOT National Conference in Saskatoon, SK

October, 2010The inaugural Joint CSOS and SSO:USA Occupational Science Conference was held in the Ivey Spencer Leadership Center at the University of Western Ontario in London, ON. At this conference, the 2nd Townsend and Polatajko Lectureship was given by Dr. Elizabeth Townsend.

June, 2009The 1st Occupational Science stream was hosted at the CAOT National Conference in Ottawa, ON.

May, 2008The 4th Canadian Occupational Science Symposium was held at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON. At this conference, the 1st Townsend and Polatajko Lectureship was given by Dr. Helene Polatajko.

 May, 2006The 3rd Canadian Occupational Science Symposium was held at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC.

 May, 2004The 2nd Canadian Occupational Science Symposium was held in Toronto, ON.

 April, 2003The CSOS launched its own website.

 October, 2002The CSOS launched its own listserv.

 May, 2002The CSOS hosted the 1st Canadian Occupational Science Symposium in Halifax, NS.

 August, 2001The CSOS was incorporated as a not-for-profit society with starting funds from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS.

 May 24, 2001The CSOS held its inaugural meeting at the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) 2001 conference in Calgary, AB.
