亲爱的兄弟姐妹，

中福社区服务活动Second Harvest Food Bank Volunteer 将于这周六(5/2)下午一点到四点举行。

Food Bank与近350家福利机构合作，每月为20万人提供食物，包括低收入者，孩童，固定收入的老年人，单亲，残障及失业人士。Food Bank的物资来源于个人，政府，连锁超市，食品企业及分销商，餐厅，展会等的捐献或剩余物资. 这些批量物资到了Food Bank需要由志愿者手工分类，检查，才可以发放下去。欢迎中福弟兄姊妹踊跃报名参加，特别鼓励家长与14岁以上的孩子一起来参与！

具体安排如下：

2）我们周六下午12：45pm在Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County 四号门外集合，地址： 8014 Marine Way Irvine, CA 92618

3）十四岁到十八岁的未成年人需要成年人陪同方可参加

4）参加活动的所有人都必须下载填写签署liability form（点击这个链接下载 this link）现场交给Foodbank. 未成年人的Liability Form须由家长或监护人签署

5) 为了安全起见，所有人必须穿不露脚趾的鞋

Offered at our 122,000 square-foot distribution center in Irvine, this volunteer opportunity provides an excellent way for friends, coworkers or other groups to work together to give back to the community. The food items that are sorted or packaged by you will be distributed to the nearly 350 member agencies that we work with, who will then distribute the food directly to the 200,000 hungry people in our community on a monthly basis. Your help matters! Some of these food items will also go into programs that we run for feeding children and seniors specifically. We can’t do it alone, but together we can end hunger in Orange County. Activities typically include sorting, crating, and/or boxing food and produce. The minimum age to volunteer in the warehouse is 14-years-old. All minors under 18-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.

1. Please wear comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes. Because you will be working in a warehouse environment, it is required that you wear close-toed shoes.

2. Some GPS and mapping systems provide inaccurate directions to our location. Please use this MAP . Upon arrival to Second Harvest, please follow the “Volunteer Parking” sign and park on the west side of the warehouse, near loading dock 4. The volunteer entrance is a tan door next to loading dock 4.

3. Please follow this link to access the liability forms.Please bring these completed with you on your volunteer dates. All the of the teenagers must have their parent or guardian sign off on the minor liability form and bring it completed with them on their volunteer day.
