CCSS Overview

The adoption of CCSS will lead to classroom shifts in cognitive rigor.  California's students will have to learn to think more critically and solve complex problems by communicating, collaborating, and developing their creativity.  Teachers, Administrators, and other school staff will need to refine assessments (formative and summative) in the areas of in ELA, Science, Social Studies and Technical Subjects and Math to match these increased cognitive demands.
