Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul (OOO) is one of the most popular overhauls (and well-known mods) for Oblivion. It has been around for a long time. It takes care of the leveling enemy issue, giving capped ranges to enemies leveling. It weaves in many new quests and characters to the world of Tamriel, and introduces many neat gameplay tweaks as well. The game with OOO is completely different. This is a total overhaul. As big as it is, there are not many mods that cannot be run with OOO. Due to its being around so long, most mods will mention whether or not there is compatibility issue, and there are also patches for a number of mods that otherwise would have conflicts. Be prepared for a whole new Oblivion experience! OOO raises the game's intensity to a whole new level... Before continuing, make sure you have already read the Intro to Modded Oblivion, Installing Oblivion and Preparing for Mods pages. This guide will cover the entire Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul installation process, from downloading the required mods up to being ready to launch the game. At that point you can read the (more general) First Run Guide. It will not, however, cover how to install all possible OOO+anything configurations. Some suggested guidelines will be offered, but you should see the corresponding general (main site) page at each step if installing other mods with it. >> notes: Check the latest Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul thread for updates.
