The Oakland Alliance is an advocacy organization comprised of graduate students whose collective voices initiate positive changes which will enhance the educational experiences of current and prospective graduate students of the part-time Masters of Social Work Program. A student led organization, its officers represent all of California East Bay part - time Master of Social Work Students allowing them to be heard. This representation ensures that student ideas, concerns, and questions reach the school administration in their truest form with the aim of eliciting positive change that emboldens the future change agents that graduate from this program.
In addition to this, The Oakland Alliance aims to inform and encourage MSW students to engage in advocacy and social change within their communities.
