The Department of Accounting and Information Systems at University of Canterbury in Christchurch is hosting the 7th annual New Zealand Information Systems Doctoral Consortium (NZISDC) on July 22nd 2016.

NZISDC provides a forum for New Zealand Information Systems doctoral students to present their research-in-progress (current research ideas, approaches, interests, issues, and methodologies), and to receive feedback from fellow students and leading academics in the field.

NZISDC is open to all New Zealand Information Systems PhD or DBA students (at any stage of their research), their supervisors, and Information Systems academic staff at all New Zealand universities. The conference offers IS doctoral students the opportunity to learn about their peers' research and meet distinguished information systems faculty from New Zealand's eight universities.

The NZISDC 2016 venue is the University of Canterbury campus in Christchurch. Christchurch is a garden city on the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island, set on the Canterbury Plains. Flat-bottomed punts glide on the Avon River, which runs through the city centre. On its banks are cycling paths, the green expanse of Hagley Park and the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Christchurch and Canterbury can claim to offer more activities, attractions and scenic variation in close proximity than anywhere else in the world. One of the very special features of Christchurch is that you can be enjoying the surf and sand at the beaches from Brighton to Sumner in the morning, and playing in the snow in the afternoon.

We look forward to seeing at NZISDC 2016 in Christchurch!

Thank You!

We wish to say a big thanks to everyone who attended NZISDC 2016 and helped to make it a success. We look forward to seeing you at NZISDC 2017 which will be hosed by Victoria University of Wellington.
