Hello, everyone! You have reached the personal website of Naizhen Zhang.

I graduated as a PhD of mathematics from University of California, Davis in September, 2014. My advisor is Brian Osserman.

I study algebraic geometry, in particular moduli problems and degeneration techniques. My personal interest is to see how and to what extent can certain categories of linear-algebraic nature reveal the global geometry of underlying geometric objects.

I was a postdoc at Universidade Federal Fluminense in Brazil during 10.2015-9.2017, supported by IMPA. My supervisor was Ethan Cotterill. Starting from 3.2018, I am a postdoc at KU Leuven and my supervisor is Nero Budur.

My work email is naizhen.zhang@kuleuven.be.
