Hello, everyone! You have reached the personal website of Naizhen Zhang.

I graduated as a PhD of mathematics from University of California, Davis in September, 2014. My advisor was Brian Osserman.

I study algebraic geometry, in particular moduli problems and degeneration techniques. My personal interest is to see how and to what extent can certain categories of linear-algebraic nature reveal the global geometry of underlying geometric objects.

I was a postdoc at Universidade Federal Fluminense in Brazil during 10.2015-9.2017, supported by IMPA. My supervisor was Ethan Cotterill. Afterwards I worked as a postdoc at KU Leuven and my supervisor was Nero Budur. I was working as a postdoc at Leibniz University Hannover during 10.2019-9.2021, under the supervision of Roger Bielawski

I currently work as an instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University (Vancouver) and Columbia College
